I am from Wilmington, Ohio and a graduate from Wilmington College with a degree in Athletic Training. I earned a Masters Degree from Muskingum University. I have worked at Clermont Northeastern for three years.
What is the most exciting game/rivalry at your school?
The most exciting rivalry at Clermont Northeastern is between Fayetteville High School. Every year the teams battle on the football field to earn the Battle of the Rockets Trophy.
Overall, what is your favorite sport to cover and why?
I like covering many of our sports because I enjoy watching all my athletes excel, but there is always the most excitement on the sideline of a Friday night football game. Each game keeps you on your toes and I enjoy the friendly competition.
What are some of your favorite ATC memories so far?
My favorite ATC memories are always being thanked by parents for the care I provide to their children.
What do you love about your current position?
I love being a member of the CNE community. This is a close-knit group that exhibits a strong family atmosphere.
What is one "dream" sports medicine/biomechanical equipment addition you would put to use if money wasn't an option and why?
I would put an Alter G treadmill to use. This is an anti-gravity treadmill that uses air pressure technology to unweight the patient. I would be able to help athletes return to running without their full body weight putting stress on an injury and making it possible to maintain cardio endurance.
